Mark A. Hummel

Mark Hummel has been a Bank on Yourself Professional with the Alan J. Eckstrand LLC agency for nearly nine years.  He served 21 years, active duty, in the U.S. Air Force, working electronics and avionics on the venerable C-130 aircraft.  After retiring from the Air Force, he found the “Bank on Yourself” strategy and implemented it for himself.  He was surprised to discover how few people were even aware of this 160-year-old financial vehicle.  He therefore obtained his state insurance license and continued through the rigorous training to become a Bank on Yourself Professional.

 “Everyone should at least be aware that there’s a better way to create and grow wealth. It appeals to those who want more money, more control, and less worry over their finances.  This is the same strategy the ultra-wealthy have used for more than 100 years to grow and protect their ‘generational’ wealth.”

Mark lives in the Florida panhandle with his wife, Jean.  He has two daughters, five grandchildren, and a white, 3-legged boxer named Dozer.  He enjoys archery, playing trumpet, and riding with Jean (and Dozer!) on their recumbent Terratrike Mavericks. They also facilitate the “Fully Engaged” program for couples preparing to be married in their church.
