Alan J. Eckstrand, President of Alan J. Alan has put his clients on track to building more than $73.5 million of additional wealth they would most likely not have had otherwise, through safe, proven financial strategies. That’s why his clients think of him as their “secret weapon,” helping them build and safeguard their wealth.

One of only 200 life insurance agents in the country who have successfully completed the rigorous training program and continuing education required to become Bank On Yourself Authorized, Alan has been in financial services for 38 years. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and a Member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Alan lives in the Torrington area with his wife, Marie, and their three cats, Sasha, Benny, and Henrietta. When Alan’s not working, you may find him reading history, taking voice lessons, or lifting weights, although preferably not at the same time!

Alan is also active with volunteer work in the community. He serves as Vice President of the Torrington Chapter of Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH), a local food bank and homeless shelter, and is President of the German American Society of Bristol.
